Stephen Wilson Jr has announced a show in Glasgow as part of his upcoming UK and Ireland tour.
The rising alternative country star is set to headline the O2 Academy on Monday, October 19, as part of his Gary the Torch tour. It follows Wilson Jr’s performance at Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom in 2025, which The Scotsman awarded 5-stars.

When is Stephen Wilson Jr playing Glasgow? All UK and Ireland tour dates
Stephen Wilson Jr is set to kick off the UK leg of his 2026 tour at Glasgow’s O2 Academy on Monday, October 19 following shows in Northern Ireland and Ireland.
- Thursday, October 15 — SSE Arena, Belfast, Northern Ireland
- Saturday, October 17 — Sligo Live, Ireland
- Monday, October 19 — O2 Academy, Glasgow
- Thursday, October 22 — O2 Academy, Brixton
- Friday, October 23 — The Prospect Building, Bristol
- Sunday, October 25 — O2 Victoria Warehouse, Manchester
When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets for Stephen Wilson Jr’s Glasgow gig will go on sale from 10am on Friday, March 20.
They will be available from sites including Ticketmaster.
Is there Stephen Wilson Jr presale?
Yes, there are several presales for Stephen Wilson Jr’s upcoming tour dates.
The main presale is through the artist himself, with fans able to sign up here to receive access to tickets from 10am on Wednesday, March 18.
Then there is O2 Priority presale for customers of O2 or Virgin Media, which will begin at 10am on Wednesday, March 18. Further details will be available in the O2 Priority app.
Then there is Live Nation presale from 10am on Thursday, March 19. This will be open to anyone who has registered for My Live Nation.
Finally, and reserved only for his Glasgow show, is Gigs in Scotland presale which will begin at 10am on Thursday, March 19. This presale can be accessed by anyone who has signed up for an account with the site.

Are there any restrictions?
Yes, only six tickets may be purchased per person and credit card. In addition, only children aged 8 or older will be allowed to attend, with standing reserved for those 14 or older.
Anyone younger than 16 must be accompanied by an adult over 18, with ID required should anyone wish to purchase alcohol.
When attending, fans are warned that no large bags, such as rucksacks, are permitted inside and that bags must be no larger than a sheet of A4 paper.
