After months of speculation Oasis have announced another series of gigs and there’s good news for Scottish fans, with the tour starting with five concerts at Glasgow’s Celtic Park next year.
The band will play the football stadium on Glasgow on May 21, 23, 25, 28 and 29 - with fans currently being urged to register for the chance to bag tickets priced from £71.50-£263.50.
It comes more than a year since Edinburgh turned into Oasis-town for the band’s much-anticipated visit as part of the first part of their reunion tour.
Over the three nights, nearly 210,000 fans sang along to every word of their heroes’ back catalogue in a crowd-pleasing set that drew heavily on their first two albums.
Those concerts saw Cast and Richard Ashcroft provide support before Oasis played for over two hours.
It has already been announced that Verve frontman Ashcroft (the inspiration fo Oasis fan favourite ‘Cast No Shadow’) will be returning to play with the Gallaghers at Celtic Park, but that leaves at least one space on the bill for another act to play what could be the biggest gigs of their lives.
Here are 13 acts who are being tipped to appear.

9. Gerry Cinnamon
Homegrown hero Gerry Cinnamon would be a hugely popular local choice for a support slot. He's already headlined a sold out Hampden though, so is arguably too big an act in his home city. The Gallaghers would not appreciate being the second most popular act at their own concert. | Getty Images

10. The Lottery Winners
Mancunian band The Lottery Winners have seen their last two albums go to number one and recently supported Robbie Williams on his Britpop tour. When they supported Nickelback a couple of years ago the two bands performed Oasis' 'Don't Look Back in Anger' together. They have also supported Noel Gallager's High Flying Birds, so a step up to opening for Oasis could be on the cards. | Contributed

11. Blossoms
Stockport indie band Blossoms have also supported Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds on tour and have covered Oasis song 'Half The World Away' during previous tours. | Getty Images

12. The Charlatans
Formed in Birmingham in the late 1980s, The Charlatans proved they are still a great live band neadling a show at Glasgow's Queen's Park earlier this year. Tim Burgess' band were another of the support acts who joined Oasis at Knebworth so would be a natural choice to join the reformed band for their British tour. | Getty Images
