Psych Fest returned to venues across Edinburgh on Sunday, with dozens of bands playing in venues from the cavernous Usher Hall to the tiny Sneaky Pete’s.
Launched after the success of a similar festival in Manchester - with another in Brighton recently added to the roster - it promises an “unforgettable day filled with mind-bending sounds, trippy visuals and a celebration of all things psychedelic.”
The event gives entry into every gig for the price of one ticket (or wristband), with swarms of music fans crisscrossing the city trying to catch as many gigs as possible.
With everything from established acts to up-and-coming local bands, there was something for everyone in the programme.
Here are 26 pictures from the day.
