After more than a decade away from Scotland, Bon Jovi will soon headline a huge show in Edinburgh.
The legendary New Jersey rock band will kick off the UK and Ireland leg of their Forever tour at Murrayfield Stadium on Friday, August 28, ahead of shows in Dublin and London.
Speaking to The Scotsman last year, frontman Jon Bon Jovi thanked Scottish fans for waiting so long for the band’s return.

Playing Edinburgh for the first time since 2011, he said: “We haven't played there in too long, first and foremost. And it's a great town and I thought it would be a good place to go and spend a week before the first show.
“I just wanted to go where I knew I could count on friends, shoulders to lean on, because it's been a while. But I'm excited. Usually I come in and do the show and sit in a hotel. But as it's the first show, I'll have the opportunity to acclimate. So it'll be fun.”
