It’ll be one of the band’s biggest Scottish shows to date.
Formed in Kilmarnock in 1995, Biffy Clyro are made up of lead singer Simon Neil and twin brothers James and Ben Johnston on bass guitar and drums respectively.
They found major commercial success with 2007 fourth album Puzzle and its successor Only Revolutions, with sixth studio album Opposites their first to reach the number one spot in the UK album charts.
Known for their fearsome live performances, they have recently been touring their tenth album, Futique.
They are currently without James Johnston, who has announced that he is currently being treated for addiction issues, and is being temporarily replaced by Naomi Macleod, who plays in Simon Neil side-project Empire State Bastard.
Last year saw them play two huge gigs at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro and Aberdeen’s P&J Live Arena.
And now they are preparing to play a huge summer gig in Edinburgh.
