Free from internet connection and furnished with copper baths, the Lanrick Treehouses, found near Doune in Stirlingshire, are fully designed to help you ‘get away from it all.’
Husband and wife Simon and Louisa Dickson started building their dream project in February this year on the family farm.
Despite a few delays due to coronavirus, the treehouses are now open for guests to come and use for a holiday in nature.
"If you want to get away from it all for a bit, come here,” Louisa said, who has a background working in African travel.
"You can enjoy a warm bubble bath while listening to birdsong in the middle of this beautiful forest.
"It’s basic in terms of no wifi, but the treehouses are opulent inside and you can enjoy escaping from the busy world in great comfort.”
Here are some pictures and further information about the stunning wooden huts suspended among some of Stirlingshire’s woodland.

9. No wifi
Just to add to the peaceful setting, Louisa and Simon have chosen not to install wifi in the treehouses as a means of encouraging guests to "switch off from it all and fully relax." If needed there are areas of the woods where 3 or 4G is accessible, but the whole point of coming here, according to Louisa is to "relax, and be with nature and wake up to the sounds of birdsong." 10. More info and cost
Two of the treehouses, Willow Warbler and Flycatcher are connected by a rope bridge, making the two ideal to rent out for any groups wishing to enjoy the space together. All huts are priced the same and start at £180 per night. Photo: Lanrick Treehouses
