Fairmont St Andrews partners with Edinburgh-born luxury accessories house for afternoon tea

Fairmont St Andrews has partnered with Edinburgh-born luxury accessories house Strathberry to launch a limited‑edition Strathberry Afternoon Tea, available from 15th May.

This exclusive Afternoon Tea pairs Fairmont St Andrews with Strathberry to celebrate Scottish heritage and timeless craftsmanship. Designed in Strathberry’s Edinburgh atelier, the menu draws on the brand’s clean lines, sculptural silhouettes and signature Music Bar, which the Fairmont pastry team has translated into refined pâtisserie using the finest local ingredients. Each piece is meticulously executed with precise technique, considered flavour pairings and elegant presentation, creating a distinctly Scottish culinary expression framed by the dramatic cliff‑top views of the North Sea.

Served in the hotel’s light‑filled Atrium Lounge, highlights from the pâtisserie collection include a passion fruit & coconut shortbread “handbag charm”; Champagne & white chocolate macarons finished with Strathberry’s signature Music Bar; an orange marmalade & vanilla Madeira cake crafted in homage to the Georgia bag; and a rich chocolate délice.

The savoury selection features signature sandwiches and artisanal pastries, including coronation chicken; John Ross Jnr smoked salmon & crème fraîche; Blyth’s of Fife free‑range egg & watercress; Fairmont St Andrews cucumber & cream cheese; grilled halloumi & tomato salsa puff pastry; a haggis & cheese cruffin; pomegranate, feta & green pesto oatcake; and lemon & lime crab choux. Warm plain & fruit scones are served with homemade compôte, lemon curd and clotted cream. Single‑origin teas are supplied by JING. Gluten‑free, vegetarian and plant‑based menus are available on request.

Throughout the season, a curated edit of Strathberry designs will be on display at the hotel, offering a visual reference point for the pâtisserie collection.

Jane Frazer, Director of Sales & Marketing, Fairmont St Andrews: “Fairmont St Andrews has long been synonymous with an unrivalled afternoon tea experience; this Strathberry collaboration elevates that heritage into a compelling new reason to visit. Meticulously reimagined pâtisserie, paired with our dramatic coastal setting and warm Scottish hospitality, positions this offering as a must‑experience destination moment and unforgettable guest experience.”

Leeanne Hundleby, Co-founder of Strathberry commented “Strathberry was founded on a deep appreciation for Scottish craftsmanship, thoughtful design and timeless elegance, so partnering with Fairmont St Andrews felt like a natural alignment of values. Seeing our signature details and silhouettes reinterpreted through pâtisserie has been a wonderful celebration of creativity and attention to detail, while the warm Scottish hospitality at the heart of the Fairmont experience reflects something deeply important to Strathberry. This partnership offers guests a uniquely immersive way to experience the creativity, heritage and artistry that define both Strathberry and Fairmont.”
