The transfer market has been buzzing since mid-season as clubs bid to strengthen their squads for the next campaign and several Scotland internationals are moving on to pastures new. Edinburgh and Glasgow Warriors have brought back a couple of familiar faces and there are a handful who are leaving Scotland for fresh challenges overseas. Here are 11 internationals who have signed for new clubs.

9. Magnus Bradbury
Another Scotland international who is returning home after a spell in England. Bradbury, 28, has rejoined Edinburgh on a two-year deal following two successful seasons with Bristol Bears. He was the club’s player of the season in 2022-23 and helped them finish fifth in 2023-24 in a campaign in which he scored an impressive 10 tries in 22 starts. Bradbury is hoping the move north can reignite his international career. He has not played for Scotland since the 2022 tour of Argentina. Photo: Michael Steele/Getty Images

10. Stuart Hogg
A year after announcing his retirement from rugby, the former Scotland captain is poised to return. Hogg, 32, has agreed a two-year contract with Montpellier and is set to restart his career in the French Top 14. The full-back revealed he spent time in rehab earlier this year and he is due to stand trial later this month over charges relating to stalking and controlling behaviour towards his wife, Gillian. 11. George Turner
The Scotland hooker is moving to Japan to join Kobe Steelers after seven seasons with Glasgow Warriors. Turner, 31, leaves on a high. He made a try-scoring contribution off the bench in Glasgow’s stunning 21-16 victory over the Bulls in the URC final in South Africa last month. He will now link up with former Glasgow coach Dave Rennie who is in charge at the Steelers where he is assisted by Mike Blair, the ex-Edinburgh coach. The move to Japan is likely to mean Turner will be unavailable for Scotland next season. Photo: Dan Sheridan/INPHO/Shutterstock

12. Oli Kebble
The prop is leaving Glasgow Warriors to join Oyonnax, effectively replacing Sutherland at the club who will play in the French second tier next season. Kebble spent seven seasons at Scotstoun and made his 100th appearance for the team in the win over the Sharks in April. Was on the bench for the URC final win at Loftus Versfeld and leaves Scotland with a well deserved winner’s medal. Has been capped 11 times by Scotland. Photo: Ross MacDonald/SNS Group
