Glasgow and Scotland star 'agrees deal' to join French Top 14 club
Warriors set to lose key player according to French report
Glasgow Warriors could be on the search for a new number 10 next season after reports in France claimed Adam Hastings has agreed to sign for Montpellier.
Hastings, who has 36 caps for Scotland, has been an ever-present in Franco Smith's side this season, featuring in all 10 matches including eight starts and scoring 56 points with the boot.
The 29-year-old, who is the son of former Scotland captain Gavin Hastings, is currently in his second spell with Glasgow having returned to the club in 2024 following a three-year spell with Gloucester.

According to French outlet rugbyrama.net, the fly-half, who started his professional career with Bath, will be playing his rugby in the Top 14 next season after agreeing a deal with Montpellier.
A move to the Herault region would provide an opportunity to form an all-Scottish half-back pairing alongside scrum-half Ali Price, who arrived last July from Edinburgh. Another compatriot, Stuart Hogg, is also currently at Montpellier, having stepped out of retirement to sign for the French club 18 months ago.
The report claims that Montpellier had considered various fly-half options including Rivez Reihana, Anthony Belleau and Enzo Hervé before settling on Hastings as a 'priority deal'.
Scotland's back-up to Finn Russell is viewed as a replacement for Thomas Vincent, who will be joining Oyonnax next summer after failing to establish himself at Montpellier.
Montpellier are currently ninth in the Top 14 and last won the French title in 2022.
Several Scots are currently playing in France including Blair Kinghorn at Toulouse, Jonny Gray at Bordeaux, Ben White at Toulon and Jamie Ritchie at Perpignon.
