Edinburgh Rugby face Easter Sunday Dublin date as they and Glasgow Warrior learn Champions Cup schedule
Last 16 fixtures confirmed for European rugby’s premier tournament
Edinburgh Rugby face an Easter Sunday showdown with Leinster after the Investec Champions Cup last 16 schedule was confirmed on Thursday morning.
Edinburgh and Glasgow Warriors both qualified from the pool phase last week and they now know when they will be playing their matches.
Sean Everitt’s capital side round off the weekend action when they take on Irish heavyweights Leinster at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Sunday, April 5. The match will kick off at 5.30pm and will be broadcast live on Premier Sports.

The winner of that match is slated to face the winner of Harlequins v Sale Sharks, which is being played the night before. Edinburgh would be away to either of the English Gallagher PREM outfits in the quarter-finals, while Leinster would be at home.
Glasgow Warriors are also in action on Saturday, April 4 when they host fellow URC side Bulls from South Africa. The tie at Scotstoun will kick off at 5.30pm and is live on Premier Sports.
The winner of Glasgow’s match will face French side Toulon or another South African team in DHL Stormers. Glasgow are guaranteed a home draw all the way to the final after qualifying from the pool phase with the second-best record behind Bordeaux-Begles.
The Champions Cup weekend kicks off on Good Friday when Northampton Saints entertain Castres (KO 8pm).
In addition to Glasgow v Bulls (5.30pm) and Sale v Harlequins (8pm), there are three other ties on Saturday, April 5: Bath v Saracens (3pm), Toulon v Stormers (4pm) and Toulouse v Bristol Bears (6.30pm).
Bordeaux-Begles v Leicester Tigers (4pm) is the other match on Easter Sunday.
