Edinburgh Rugby blow as captain ruled out of Leinster Champions Cup clash
Injury update ahead of last-16 tie in Dublin

Edinburgh Rugby captain Magnus Bradbury has been ruled out of the club’s Investec Champions Cup clash with Leinster in Dublin on Sunday with an ankle injury.
The international No 8 damaged ligaments during the defeat by the Stormers in South Africa last weekend and is due to see a specialist on Thursday.
It’s a blow for both player and club ahead of what is a daunting round of 16 tie against the four-time winners.

Bradbury suffered the injury during a clearout in the second half of the game in Cape Town. He was able to finish the match but is now in a medical protective boot.
“Maggie's got ligament damage,” confirmed Sean Everitt, the Edinburgh coach. “He's seeing a specialist on Thursday but he's not available this weekend.
Muncaster to see a doctor
“It is a blow because he's a good leader and he's actually been one of our star performers. And obviously very good in the ball-carrying department so we will miss Maggie this weekend.”
The availability of Ben Muncaster, a possible contender to replace Bradbury, will depend on whether he recovers in time from the concussion he suffered against the Lions a week past Saturday.
“We're hoping that Ben Muncaster will be available,” added Everitt. “He'll be seeing a doctor and hopefully he'll get cleared medically. And then we could announce him on our team.”
D’arcy Rae should be fit provided he shows no reaction to Monday’s training session. The tighthead prop is looking to return to action following a calf injury he picked against the Lions.
With Everitt admitting Edinburgh’s URC play-off hopes are all but over, Sunday’s match at the Aviva Stadium is the club’s last chance to salvage something from the season.
