Scottish golfer announces new arrival in social media post
Bob MacIntyre has become a new dad, announcing the arrival of son Findlay in a post on social media on Friday.
The world No 5 revealed that he had become a parent along with his partner, Shannon Hartley, on Wednesday.
The post read: “Our new world # 1. Findlay MacIntyre. Arrived 28.01.26”
MacIntyre opened his 2026 campaign by playing in two events on the PGA Tour - the Sony Open in Hawaii and The American Express in California.
He returned home earlier this week and it is unknown when he will play his next golf event.
The 29-year-old started the year sitting seventh in the Official World Golf Ranking but has climbed to a career-high fifth in the global standings.
