Who is in the Wimbledon Royal Box Today? Here are all the stars watching the tennis on Friday at SW19 on day 12 of competition

There are plenty of well kent faces watching the tennis at Wimbledon today.

Played on grass at London’s All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, in London, this year’s Wimbledon tournament is the 139th time it has taken place (and the 132nd time the ladies’ singles has been played).

Last year saw world number one Jannik Sinner win his first title, preventing Carlos Alcaraz taking home the men’s singles title for a third consecutive year by beating the Spaniard in four sets in the final.

Meanwhile Iga Swiatek beat Amanda Anisimova in the women’s singles final to become the first Polish Wimbledon singles champion in the open era.

They both returned to defend their titles, along with Novak Djokovic, who is looking to add a record 25th grand slam trophy to his groaning mantelpiece.

Both Djokovic and Sinner have safely made it through to the men’s semi-finals (Djokovic after an epic five set battle against Felix Auger Aliassime on Tuesday) but in the women’s singles Swiatek crashed out in the third round, with world number one Aryna Sabalenka beaten by Naomi Osaka on Sunday.

Today’s Centre Court schedule is all about the men’s singles, with two potentially epic semi-finals to relish.

First up will be new Centre Court hero Arthur Fery playing second seed Alexander Zverev, before Novak Djokovic continues his quest for a record 25th grand slam against world number one Jannik Sinner.

The stellar lineup has attracted a host of famous faces to the Championship.
