UK Championship Snooker 2025 Today: Prize money, Thursday match times, odds, results, when is John Higgins playing Shaun Murphy?
It’s day six at the first Triple Crown tournament of the season - and by the end of the day we’ll know the full quarter-final lineup.
First held in 1977, this year’s UK Championship is the 48th time the finest players in the world have competed for the title.

It’s the first of the so-called ‘Triple Crown’ events of the season, with the World Championships and the Masters the other big two tournaments.
Last year’s championship saw Judd Trump defeat Barry Hawkins 10-8 in a nail-biting final and both are back this year - alongside Scotland’s John Higgins who has won the tournament three times in the past (in 1998, 2000 and 2010).
Higgins is safely through to the second round, but Scottish player Stephen Maguire went out in the first. Fellow countryman Scott Donaldson had better luck, storming to a 6-1 win over eighth seed Mark Allen on Monday. Both Scots are back in action today.
Tuesday saw Ronnie O’Sullivan crash out 6-4 to Zhou Yuelong in the first round - that record-extending 24th Triple Crown trophy will have to wait.
And yesterday saw Mark Williams exit at the hands of Pang Junxu, while Neil Robertson, Judd Trump and Mark Selby all safely made their way through to the quarter-finals.
Here’s everything you need to know about the tournament on Thursday, December 4.
