UK Championship Snooker 2025 Final: Prize money, Sunday schedule, odds, results, when does Mark Selby play Judd Trump?

It’s day nine at the first Triple Crown tournament of the season - which means it’s time for the final.

First held in 1977, this year’s UK Championship is the 48th time the finest players in the world have competed for the title.

It’s the first of the so-called ‘Triple Crown’ events of the season, with the World Championships and the Masters the other big two tournaments.

Last year’s championship saw Judd Trump defeat Barry Hawkins 10-8 in a nail-biting final and both are safely through to this year’s quarter-finals.

Scotland’s John Higgins, who has won the tournament three times in the past (in 1998, 2000 and 2010), crashed out in the second round yesterday after a tense 6-5 battle against Shaun Murphy - following fellow-countrymen Stephen Maguire and Scott Donaldson through the exit door.

And Ronnie O’Sullivan is also out after losing 6-4 to Zhou Yuelong in the first round - that record-extending 24th Triple Crown trophy will have to wait.

Friday saw Shaun Murphy, Judd Trump, Mark Selby and Neil Robertson all advance to the semi-finals.

And yesterday saw four become two, when Trump and Selby marched on to the final.

Here’s everything you need to know about the tournament on the last day of competition - Sunday, December 7.
