The 125th edition of the US Open will be getting underway at Pennsylvania’s Oakmont Country Club on Thursday, June 12, with the champion crowned four days later.
It’s the third of the year’s four majors, with Rory McIlroy triumphing at the Masters and Scottie Scheffler taking the USPGA title.
Last year saw Bryson DeChambeau win, with McIlroy coming runner-up for the second successive year.
DeChambeau is back this year to defend his title - part of a field of 156 players, all dreaming of lifting one of golf’s most prestigious trophies.

9. Shane Lowry - 33/1
Ireland's Shane Lowry only has one major to his name to date - the 2019 Open Championship. He's had a good year though, rising to a career high of number 10 in the world, justifying his status as 33/1 joint ninth favourite for the 2025 US Open. | Getty Images

10. Tommy Fleetwood - 33/1
Ryder Cup hero Tommy Fleetwood is also a 33/1 shot for the US Open titles. He's still to break his major duck, but has won seven times on the European Tour and bagged an Olympic silver medal. | Getty Images

11. Justin Thomas - 40/1
Another American double major winner priced at 19/1, Justin Thomas triumphed in the 2017 and 2022 PGA Championships. The former world number one (he ruled the roost back in 2018) will be hoping for a third this year at the US Open - and is a 40/1 shot to do so. | Getty Images
