Royal Portrush Golf Club in County Antrim will be hosting the Open Championship for the third time from July 17-20 - local hero Shane Lowry was the last player to win there in 2019.
A total of 156 players will do battle on the links in a bid to win the last major of the year, following the USPGA, US Open and US Masters.
Here are the 13 players the bookies reckon have the best chance of lifting the Claret Jug.

5. Xander Schauffele - 25/1
One of two players with odds of 25/1, American Xander Schauffele is the defending champion. He bagged both the USPGA and the Open in 2024, despite having not won a major before. He also won a gold medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics. | Getty Images

6. Tommy Fleetwood
English Ryder Cup hero Tommy Fleetwood is also priced at 25/1. He's yet to win a Major but has triumphed seven times on the European Tour. His best finish in the Open to date was a second place in 2019. | Getty Images

7. Ludvig Aberg - 28/1
Sweden's Ludvig Åberg only turned professional in June 2023 and has already won titles on both the European Tour and the PGA Tour - as well as coming second in last year's Masters and being part of a winning European Ryder Cup team. Surely it's only a matter of time before he makes his major breakthrough. The bookies have him priced at 28/1 for the Open title. | Getty Images

8. Viktor Hovland - 30/1
Norwegian golf star Viktor Hovland is another player who has yet to win a major - but has had top ten finishes at all four, including a second place at the USPGA and a fourth spot at the 2022 Open. He's had one win on the European tour and seven on the PGA tour. He's priced at 30/1 to make his major breakthrough this week. | Getty Images
