Genesis Scottish Open Ticket+ offer extended to a practice day after sell-out

Popular option for spectators at Rolex Series event now available on the Wednesday

A ticket offer for the Genesis Scottish Open is being extended to one of the practice days for this year’s event at The Renaissance Club.

It follows Ticket+ selling out from Thursday to Sunday as the $9 million Rolex Series event is held at the East Lothian venue for the eighth consecutive year.

Last year’s tournament attracted a record Scottish Open crowd of 88,735, with a distinct possibility that figure will be broken once again in July.

World No 1 Scottie Scheffler and second-ranked Rory McIlroy are among the players already confirmed, as are defending champion Chris Gotterup and 2024 winner Bob MacIntyre.

Others set to tee up on Scotland’s Golf Coast include 2022 champion Xander Schaufflele, two-time PGA Championship winner Justin Thomas and Ryder Cup star Viktor Hovland.

Five-time major winner Brooks Koepka, who will be making his first Genesis Scottish Open start in 11 years, has also just been confirmed along with PGA champion Aaron Rai and US Open champion JJ Spaun.

Rory Colville, Genesis Scottish Open Championship Director, said: "We had a record attendance across the week at the Genesis Scottish Open last year, and with Ticket+ already sold out for the four tournament rounds this July, we’re pleased to be able to extend the offering to Wednesday.

Thistle hole is ‘great spot for fans to gather’

"Over the past couple of years, Ticket+ has proven to be a really popular option for fans who would like to elevate their experience, including extras such as a reserved viewing and seating area, meal and drinks vouchers, a dedicated buggy service and preferential parking.

"It all forms part of the expanded offering at the re-branded Thistle hole (formerly The Stadium), which is a great spot for fans to gather.

“With the new routing of the course, the former 6th hole is now the 15th, forming part of an exciting new finishing stretch, and we look forward to welcoming even more fans to the Thistle this year."
