Watch the story behind Scotland's Greatest Goals with Pat Nevin and Alan Pattullo
An in-depth, top-quality analysis and discussion of Scotland’s rich goalscoring history
What’s the best way to celebrate Scotland’s participation at this summer’s World Cup?
Up in The Scotsman’s towers, we thought long and hard about a project that would be fitting ahead of our first foray on to the world stage for 28 years.
We’ve already done Scotland’s Greatest Players, so we felt now was the time to look at the goals - no doubt spurred on by Scott McTominay’s antics against Denmark last November.
Once again, we enlisted former Scotland internationalist Pat Nevin to help us. Like a successful loanee coming back to the club, this time we got him on a more permanent arrangement.
The full 90-minute video can be watched above as Pat, our chief football correspondent Alan Pattullo and myself take a trip down memory lane.
It’s well worth a watch, so sit back and enjoy Scotland’s Greatest Goals.
