Holders Celtic are the first name in the hat after a comfortable 4-1 win over Falkirk at Parkhead on Friday night with goals from Daizen Maeda, Alistair Johnston, Dane Murray and a Liam Henderson own goal before the Bairns netted a consolation through Keelan Adams.

Partick Thistle host Ayr United in all-Championship affair before the lowest ranked side left in the competition, League One Alloa Athletic, travel to Ibrox in the evening kick-off hoping to repeat the heroics of Queen’s Park last season, who knocked Rangers out of the Scottish Cup on their own patch.

All matches will be decided on the day meaning 30 minutes of extra-time and penalties will be played if required to determine which eight winners will progress to the quarter-finals of the competition.
