How to watch Rangers v Hearts

A potentially defining fixture in the most exciting Scottish Premiership title race in decades takes place at Ibrox on Sunday when second-placed Rangers host leaders Hearts.

The Jambos currently lead Rangers by five points at the top of the table with 12 matches remaining with Celtic a point further back in third, but with a game in hand.

The Tynecastle side are bidding to be the first team outwith the Old Firm to become champions of Scotland since Aberdeen last managed it under Alex Ferguson in 1984-85. The Jambos themselves have not won the league since season 1959-60.

Hearts manager Derek McInnes takes his men to Ibrox on the back of a huge home derby win over rivals Hibs in midweek, with substitute Tomas Magnusson striking the winner in the 89th minute.

Rangers have clawed themselves back into the title race following the appointment of Danny Rohl in October but they suffered a setback in midweek when they were held to a 1-1 draw by 10-man Motherwell.

The Light Blues were leading through Nico Raskin’s early opener at Fir Park when Well midfielder Lukas Fadinger was red carded with 12 minutes remaining.

Despite the man advantage, Rangers failed to see the game out with Stephen Welsh, the on-loan Celtic defender, equalising for the Steelmen in the closing stages.

The two previous meetings between Rangers and Hearts this season have both been won by the team from Edinbugh with a 2-0 victory at Ibrox on September 13 followed by a 2-1 win at Tynecastle on December 21.
