How to watch Aberdeen v St Johnstone
Aberdeen and St Johnstone go head-to-head at Pittodrie on Sunday as the Scottish Premiership returns following an extended international break.
The Dons will look to build on a four-match unbeaten run prior to the three-week shutdown which saw them start to turn a corner under head coach Stephen Robinson after a difficult start to his tenure.
Last month saw them reach the Premier Sports Cup semi-finals with a penalty shoot-out win at Kilmarnock before an impressive 4-0 win at Motherwell was followed by a 1-1 draw at Hibs. A 4-1 friendly win over Dunfermline during the break continued their good form.
St Johnstone, meanwhile, have made a solid start to their first season back in the top flight following last season’s promotion from the Championship. Simo Valakari’s men sit sixth in the table on eight points, ahead of Aberdeen on goal difference, after seven rounds of fixtures.
Seven of the eight points accrued so far have come at home so the Perth side will be looking to pick up more points on the road, starting with the visit to the Granite City.
