St Mirren vs Valur: How to watch UEFA Conference League qualifier, team news, TV details for St Mirren game
St Mirren boss Stephen Robinson has urged his team to “embrace the challenge” as they go head-to-head with Icelandic outfit Valur in the UEFA Conference League second round qualifier at the SMiSA Stadium tonight.
The Paisley boss leads his side out against the Besta deild karla runners-up tonight knowing that any sort of win will see his side progress to the next stage of the UEFA competition after they secured a valuable 0-0 draw in Reykjavík last week. A sell out crowd is expected in Paisley and Robinson admits he is excited to lead his side out for the game.

We allegedly had 200 people over there and they certainly made a lot of noise, so if there’s going to be 6,000 St Mirren fans at this one then it will be fantastic. I have repeatedly said that it’s a credit to the staff and the players here that the fans are turning out in their numbers because we’ve given them something to cheer about.”

St Mirren team news vs Valur
Buddies boss Robinson could be without two of his key players for the UEFA Conference League after the Northern Irishman revealed Caolan Boyd-Munce will definitely miss the clash with Valur, while striker Mikael Mandron is also a huge doubt and will face a late fitness test. Boyd-Munce was taken off after just 15 minutes in the first-leg tie in Iceland and has been unable to recover in time. Conor McMenamin and Greg Kiltie are both long term absentees. For Valur, former EPL midfielder Gylfi Sigurðsson has not travelled with the squad.
Tonight’s referee will be Danish official Mikkel Redder.
