The Scottish Premiership returns in just one week and Celtic, Rangers, Hearts and Hibs are all still hoping to strengthen their squads with the season opener firmly on the horizon.
There are still approximately five weeks left in the summer transfer window; however, the clock is ticking as managers look to add those finishing touches to their squads for the 2026/27 campaign.
While every fan loves to see their club splash the cash on the next potential superstar, there are often lots of bargains to be found in the free agent market, with several players coming to the end of their contract in the summer and looking for their next challenge.

13. Tom Davies
The former England Under-21 midfielder earned compared to greats such as Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard when he first broke through onto the scene with Everton, but he hasn't quite hit the heights many hoped. The high-energy, box-to-box midfielder ended his three year stay with Sheffield United earlier this summer, and is yet to find a new club.
