Full details ahead of Larnaca v Aberdeen in the Conference League this Thursday
Aberdeen will look to lift themselves off the foot of the Conference League table as they make the visit to Cyprus to face Larnaca on Thursday night.
Losing their opening two games in the competition, Jimmy Thelin’s team currently prop up the table following defeats to Shakhtar Donetsk and AEK Athens, with the latter thrashing the Dons 6-0 on their last outing.
However, recent good form in the league will give them confidence heading into the clash, with the 1-0 win over Kilmarnock last Wednesday their third victory in their last four league games.
As for their hosts, Juan Ferrando’s side enters the game on the back of a 1-0 weekend win over Apollon, while they have also surprised many with their displays in Europe. Winning their opening two games in the competition, the Cypriot side comfortably beat AZ Alkmaar 4-0 in their campaign opener, before shocking English Premier League side Crystal Palace in their last outing, winning 1-0 at Selhurst Park.
