The enthralling Scottish Premiership title race continues to throw up more twists and turns, Rangers’ major slip-up at home to Motherwell saw Hearts move them three points clear at the top of the table after a huge victory over Hibs.
Celtic kept themselves within three points of the summit with a 3-1 victory over Falkirk on Saturday afternoon, but the real drama came the following day as Rangers fell to a humbling 3-2 defeat at home against Motherwell, before Hearts battled to a late 2-1 Edinburgh derby victory against nine-man Hibs in the capital.
Head coach Danny Rohl refused to accept defeat following the loss to Motherwell at Ibrox, but there’s no doubting that the weekend results puts Derek McInnes’ Jambos in the driving seat as they look to lift their first Scottish title since 1960. Blair Spittal’s 86th minute at Easter Road pulls them four points clear of Rangers in third, while it maintains a three point cushion over Celtic, with a superior goal difference.
With just four games to go, there is almost certain to be further drama to come. But who are the bookies backing to be crowned as the champions of Scotland in May?
Here are the latest Scottish Premiership title odds as the split approaches on the horizon.
