Hearts sanction exit
Hearts head coach Wouter Vrancken has confirmed that the club accepted a bid for winger Alexandros Kyziridis. The 25-year-old was left out of the club’s 4-0 win over Dundee United at the weekend after an agreement was reached with an unnamed Turkish club for his transfer, with the fee reported to be around £1.7million.
The Greek international moved to Tynecastle last year on a free transfer from Zemplin Michalovce on a three-year contract, and played a major role for Hearts as they took the title race until the final day, scoring six goals and assisting a further 11. His form in the capital saw him win a first international cap for his country last season, making his bow as a second-half substitute in a 1-0 home friendly defeat to Italy in June.
“We accepted a bid for Alex," confirmed Vrancken. “I think it's a good deal for him, for sure, but also for the club. When he comes in for nothing and goes with a good bid. It's also a transfer window. When the transfer window is open, it's part of football. But people showed today that they are ready to fill up this gap.”

Fee agreed for Scotland hotshot
Spanish giants Sevilla have stepped up their interest in Scotland Under-21 international Robbie Ure this summer, having agreed a fee of £7.8million with IK Sirius for his services. The 22-year-old marksman has been in remarkable form this season, scoring 15 goals in as many games to help the Allsvenskan side go 11 points clear at the top of the league.
Several clubs have been alerted to his goal-scoring talents in recent months. However, it looks like the former Europa League winners have won the race for his signature after their formal approach to the Uppsala-based club was accepted, with talks now underway between the clubs. According to Spanish publication Marca, the Scottish marksman will undergo a medical on Monday ahead of signing a five-year contract at Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuan Stadium.
Eligible to represent Ukraine at international level, Ure recently confirmed he had chosen to represent his country of birth, Scotland, saying: “My ambition is to play with Scotland one day but I have no stress for that situation. I feel like what I do at club level will give me the opportunities that I deserve. I'm going to push to be involved with the men's first team but of course if it's Under-21s then there's no problem. I'm young and I feel like I will have a good international career.”

Rangers one in one out
Rangers are weighing up an offer from Corum FK for midfielder Mohamed Diomande, with the club thought to be ready to allow the Ivorian to move on this summer. The 24-year-old was a half-time substitute in the 2-1 defeat to Hibs at the weekend, but could have played his final game for the club after an offer of around £4.5million was submitted following the loss at Ibrox.
Diomande has started two games for new head coach Derek McInnes this season, and has two years left on his contract at Rangers. However, he looks set to depart after reports confirmed that the club were prepared to sanction his exit. The Ivory Coast international had spoken of his desire to remain in Glasgow this summer less than a fortnight ago, telling reporters that he felt he had “something special” to offer McInnes.
Meanwhile, Rangers are ready to launch a move for Aston Villa defender Kosta Nedeljkovic. The 20-year-old spent last season on loan to RB Leipzig, making 15 appearances, and is understood to be available this summer. The Glasgow giants have struggled at right-back since the departure of long-serving captain James Tavernier in the summer, and view the Serbian international as an option in the position. The club are considering a permanent deal for Nedeljkovic, though a loan with an option to buy is also a possibility, according to the Daily Record.

Celtic rivalled for 32-cap ace
Celtic are set to face a battle to sign in-demand midfielder Gvidas Gineitis this summer, with former Rangers boss Danny Rohl hoping to lure him to his new club RB Salzburg. The 22-year-old is understood to be on manager Martin O’Neill’s list of potential replacements for Arne Engels, should the playmaker depart the club before the transfer deadline.
Capped 32 times by Lithuania, he made his international debut aged just 18 and is understood to be valued at around the £12million mark by Italian side Torino. The player’s agent recently hinted at a potential departure from the Olympic Grande Stadium, saying: “Gvidas is ambitious, as any player competing at this level should be. There have already been expressions of interest from other clubs, which is natural considering his age, performance, and potential.”
According to a report from Italian transfer expert Matteo Moretto, the Austrian Bundesliga side have emerged as contenders for his signature this summer. A regular at the Stadio Olimpico Grande, Gineitis made 29 appearances for the club last season and is under contract with the Italian outfit until the summer of 2029.
