This year’s Scottish Premiership campaign has been one of the most memorable in recent history - and we haven’t even reached split yet.
Hearts have took full advantage of Rangers and Celtic turmoil this season, rising to the top of the table back in September and staying there ever since. Meanwhile, Motherwell are hoping to also have a say in the title race after their transformational season under Jens Berthel Askou.
At the opposite end of the table, Livingston appear destined to finish bottom after winning just one league game all season. However, a host of other teams could join them, with Kilmarnock, St Mirren, and possibly even Aberdeen battling to keep their heads above water.
It has also been a season that has seen the emergence of several up-and-coming young talents in the top flight, as several club’s blood some of their most highly-rated young talents on the main stage. But who have been the best performing youngsters in the Scottish Premiership this season?
Here, we look at the 15 young talents aged 21 and under who have made an impact in Scottish top flight this season:

9. David Watson - Kilmarnock
Winner of the SFWA young player of the year award in 2023, Watson is likely to be in high-demand when his contract expires at Rugby Park this summer. Just 21-years-old, he is vastly experience, having played well over 100 games for Kilmarnock already in career. Capable of fulfilling a number of roles in the centre of the park, his passing and chance creation are a key weapon in his arsenal. However, he also offers plenty defensively, making 50 tackles, 24 interceptions, and 29 clearances this term. | SNS Group

10. Youssef Chermiti - Rangers
Amid the chatter that surrounded Rangers' big £8.5million outlay on the Portuguese hitman, it is easy to forget that he's still just 21. Chermiti has shown inconsistency this season, but perhaps that is to be expected in a player still so young. That said, there's plenty things signalling why he can be a big player both now, and in the future, at Ibrox. He wins more aerial duels than 85% of other strikers in the division, has found the target nine times despite having an xG of just 6.65, and makes more defensive contributions than 77% of other forwards, proving his work rate is up there with the best this season. | SNS Group

11. Kenan Bilalovic - Aberdeen
Signing on a long-term contract from IFK Varnamo in the summer, the 20-year-old has struggled for regular starts but has made an impact when offered the opportunity. Has scored three goals from five starts - one of which came against Celtic. The left-footed winger is physically strong, technically capable, and is deceptively quick. He'll hope to feature more in the coming months at Pittodrie. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

12. Owen Elding - Hibs
One of Ireland's most promising young strikers, the 20-year-old moved to Easter Road from Sligo Rovers January. He has already proven why he was so sought after with two goals in his first three starts, leaving Hibs fans confident that they have found a goal-scoring replacement for Kieron Bowie. Despite playing more centrally, his finishing ability was compared to that of Wales legend Gareth Bale on social media. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group
