Aberdeen are edging closer to naming their next head coach after opening talks with St Mirren head coach Stephen Robinson over their vacant managerial position.
Knocked out of the Scottish Cup by Dunfermline Athletic at the weekend, the Dons have struggled under interim manager Peter Leven, who took the reins on a temporary basis following the sacking of Jimmy Thelin 66 days ago.
Without a win in their last six league games, the Aberdeen hierarchy has now moved fast to open talks with St Mirren boss Robinson, with the two clubs now confirming two talks are underway over a deal that would see him swap Paisley for Pittodrie.
As an appointment edges closer, we rank the last 10 Aberdeen managers based on their win ratio and see how Stephen Robinson compares:

10. Jimmy Calderwood - 41.41%
Sadly passing away in January 2025, the former Aberdeen boss led the Dons to UEFA Cup qualification during his five year stay at Aberdeen. Taking the role in May 2004, he won 94 of his 227 games in charge before departing in May 2009. | SNS Group

11. Derek McInnes - 53.54%
One of the most successful Aberdeen managers in recent years, McInnes won the Scottish League Cup with the Dons in 2014, and took them to four domestic finals in total during his near eight year stay at the club.
