It is win or bust for Scotland as they conclude their Nations League A campaign away to Poland on Monday evening in a hugely important fixture.
The result will not only decide whether Scotland avoid relegation to Nations League B but will also determine their crucial seeding for next month’s World Cup qualifying draw. You can read all about the various permutations here.
Scotland head coach Steve Clarke must decide whether to start with the team that beat Croatia or mix things up. He has already hinted he is considering resting Ben Doak despite the 19-year-old’s star turn on Friday.
John McGinn came off the bench to net the only goal and is pushing for a recall while Lyndon Dykes is a strong contender to start up front following Tommy Conway’s first start. Goalkeeper Craig Gordon is hoping to shake off illness, otherwise Robby McCrorie is in line for a debut.
Here is how we predict Scotland will line up in Warsaw, in a 4-2-3-1 formation, using images from the MD-1 training session in Glasgow on Sunday...

9. AMC: Scott McTominay
Has become such a massive player for Scotland in recent times playing just off the striker and has adopted a similar role since joining Napoli in the summer. Didn't add to his goal tally against Croatia but was still a big presence as Scotland pushed for a second half winner. | SNS Group

10. AML: John McGinn
Was an unusual sight to see McGinn listed among the Scotland substitutes against Croatia but his match-winning contribution off the bench ensures he will not be overlooked against Poland. We expect the Aston Villa captain to take Christie's play on the left of midfield with the Bournemouth man dropping to a deeper role. | SNS Group

11. CF: Lyndon Dykes
Tommy Conway did nothing wrong against Croatia but it seems likely that Clarke will turn to the experience and physicality of Dykes for a tough away assignment. The 29-year-old may be struggling to make an impact at Birmingham this season, but he has shown in the past that he can lead the line for Scotland and has a record of one goal in every four caps, meaning he is overdue one. | SNS Group
