Scottish Football RECAP: Rangers linked with winger, Lennon to stay Celtic boss, Ibrox target rejects offers, Hearts boss eyes pre-contract market
We have entered the fourth and final full week of the January transfer window before it closes on Monday, February 1 at midnight.
There is expected to be more activity with the market entering the final stretch. It is at this point some teams get desperate, while others have a better idea of the squad they need for the remainder of the campaign.
It has been made slightly more complicated in Scotland with the leagues below the Championship being shelved and the coronavirus pandemic’s impact still being felt across the country.
There is little idea when fans will be allowed back in with all likelihood that it won’t be until next season which is difficult to contend with as a fan, especially with big games on the horizon. This weekend there is the Betfred Cup semi-finals and fixtures are coming thick and fast in the Premiership and Championship.
We will have all the latest from around the SPFL throughout the day as it happens.
