Rangers v Aberdeen: Kick-off time, is it on TV, odds, form guide, SPFL match preview, last match, how to stream
Rangers host Derek McInnes’ third-placed Aberdeen side at Ibrox on Sunday afternoon in a Glasgow re-run of the opening day fixture of the SPFL season.
Back then Ryan Kent stroked in the only goal for Steven Gerrard’s side and Andrew Considine was red-carded late on.

Now, 14 games later, Rangers host the Dons at Ibrox continuing to occupy that top spot they earned on August 1 at Pittodrie. Aberdeen are third heading into the weekend, but could be leap-frogged by fourth-placed Hibs who play Celtic on Saturday, before the Dons’ Sunday sojourn south of the River Clyde.
Rangers team news: Steven Gerrard is assessing the squad with many returning from international duty including Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Jack, Jon McLaughlin and Steven Davis. Bongani Zungu has a knee knock after South Africa duty. Niko Katic remains out despite promising injury news and both Jordan Jones and George Edmundson are suspended.

Aberdeen team news: Like Rangers, Aberdeen have several players returning from internationals – including Greg Leigh who scored a double for Jamaica. Lewis Ferguson, Connor McLennan and Ross McCrorie played for Scotland under-21s – but the Rangers loanee will not be permitted to play. Niall McGinn is out with a calf injury but Matty Kennedy is closer to a return as is Funso Ojo. Jonny Hayes and Marley Watkins remain out.
