Plenty of eyes were on Parkhead on Sunday as Celtic faced St Johnstone with Neil Lennon’s future being questioned by fans. It didn’t go well as St Johnstone earned a fully deserved draw and the Scottish champions fell even further behind Rangers at the top of the league.
There was a big win for Hamilton Accies at the bottom of the league, a topsy turver Fifee derby in the Championship and a big win for Hearts Women in the SWPL 1, beating rivals Hibs for their first success of the league season.

9. Celtic slammed for striker failure
Celtic have been told they should have “pulled their finger out” with regards to transfer target Ivan Toney by Peterborough United chairman Barry Fry. The Parkhead club were keen on the former Posh striker in the summer and the player wanted to move with a £25k-a-week offer on the table but the transfer fee wasn’t enough. He moved to Brentford and has continued to score with Fry believing he is now worth £25-30m. (Scottish Sun) Photo: George Wood
