Celtic battled back from two goals down against Rangers as the Glasgow giants drew 2-2 at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership.
So often, man for the big occasion in big games this season, Portuguese striker Youssef Chermiti had a first-half to remember as his acrobatic effort opened the scoring after eight minutes, before he capitalised on an error from Julian Araujo to tap home his second on 26 minutes.
Martin O’Neill’s men roared back, though, and reduced the deficit when Kieran Tierney nodded home from close range just ten minutes in the second-half, before Reo Hatate scored a last-minute equaliser when he tapped home from close range after seeing Jack Butland save his penalty.
The result does little for either side in the context of the title race, with Rangers now trailing league leaders Hearts by six points, whereas Celtic, eight points off the pace, have a game in hand.
Here’s how The Scotsman rated the performance of each player as Rangers and Celtic played out a pulsating 2-2 draw at Ibrox.

10. Kieran Tierney (Celtic) - 6

11. Nico Raskin (Rangers) - 8
Good pass to Chukwuani in opening minute created an early opening, and his chipped cross over the top led to Rangers' second. A terrier-like performance from Raskin. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

12. Callum McGregor (Celtic) - 6
Played a few hopeful balls over the top and had largely had no impact in a dire first-half performance from his side. A fixture that he used to dominate in so often, he looked more like himself in the second period. | SNS Group
