Rangers suffered a second successive Europa League defeat, going down 2-1 to Sturm Graz in Austria, to keep the pressure on head coach Russell Martin.
Two goals down at half-time after poor defensive lapses, Rangers showed fighting spirit in the second half but were unable to recover the damage.
Slovenia striker Tomi Horvat put the hosts ahead after just seven minutes and, after Rangers forward Youssef Chermiti hit the woodwork, Georgia midfielder Otar Kiteishvili drove in a second in the 35th minute and Jurgen Saumel’s side were good for their lead.
However, Gers wide man Djeidi Gassama made it 2-1 four minutes after the break with a terrific strike and offered hope for the Govan outfit, but the comeback could not be completed and, after just five wins in 16 games, the pressure remains firmly on Martin.
Here is how The Scotsman rated each Rangers player out of 10 for their performance...

5. Derek Cornelius
Partly to blame at the Sturm Graz opener where he was too slow to recognise the danger. Looked far more assured at left-back after Russell Martin's half-time changes and showed an eagerness to get forward, nearly scoring when forcing the goalkeeper into a good save. 6. Connor Barron
Lost his runner when Rangers conceded a second. Otherwise, stuck to his task in midfield, recyling possession and battling to win the ball back, without being overly influential. Fortunate not to be yellow carded for at least two bookable fouls before being replaced on 70 minutes. 5 | SNS Group

7. Nico Raskin
Blazed a decent shooting chance over the bar before half-time. Grew in influence in the second half and his driving runs from midfield were a key factor in pushing Rangers forward for an equaliser which never came. Far from Rangers worst player on the night. 6 | APA/AFP via Getty Images

8. Thelo Aasgaard
A player still to make a meaningful contribution in a Rangers jersey. A number 10 - if that is his position - should be bright and inventive but this was another slow and ponderous performance from the Norwegian. A riddle that Russell Martin has yet to solve. 5 | APA/AFP via Getty Images
