Scotland’s World Cup adventure is now just a mere four months away, and discussions over which players Steve Clarke should select within his squad are already dominating the headlines.
It took almost three decades to seal their return to the World Cup, but the Tartan Army will attest that it was well worth the wait, with the 4-2 win over Denmark that secured qualification to the tournament in the United States, Mexico, and Canada one of the most historic nights in Scottish football history.
Many will be praying they are on the head coach's mind ahead of the summer, but there are also a number of Scotland internationals also sweating over their future at club level, with plenty Scottish talents out of contract this coming summer.
Here are the top 15 Scotland internationals that are set to become free agents in the summer:

5. John Souttar - Rangers
Rangers boss Danny Rohl admitted the club have opened talks with a view to keeping him at Ibrox beyond the summer earlier this season, but with no new deal announced, Souttar's future remains up in the air. Will he depart Glasgow this summer? | PA

6. Kenny McLean - Norwich City
One of the heroes of Scotland's memorable win over Denmark that sealed qualification to this summer's World Cup, the Canaries captain sees his contract expire in the summer. Currently managed by former Rangers boss Philippe Clement, he had previously been linked with a move to Ibrox during his reign at the club. 7. Liam Cooper - Sheffield Wednesday
A member of Steve Clarke's squad at Euro 2020 and Euro 2024, the experienced former Leeds United captain has fallen down the pecking order at international level. Spent a season in Bulgaria with CSKA Sofia, but returned to the EFL Championship with Sheffield Wednesday last year. Currently 30 points adrift of safety at the bottom of the table, the Owls look certain to be relegated, and Cooper's contract will expire this summer. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

8. James Forrest - Celtic
The most decorated player in Celtic history, having won 26 major honours over his 16-season career, the veteran winger may finally see his long association with the club come to an end. His contract is currently due to expire in the summer. | Getty Images
