Rangers have ended Celtic’s period of domination in the Scottish Cup with a 2-0 victory over their Old Firm rivals at Ibrox.
An impressive overhead kick from Steven Davis and an own goal from Jonjoe Kenny in the first-half were enough for Steven Gerrard’s men to advance to the next round, where they’ll meet St Johnstone in a home tie.
Celtic had their opportunities in the second period, including missing a late penalty, but they couldn’t get themselves back into the contest. The result ends their run of four successive Scottish Cup final triumphs.

Similar to his partner, overall solid with a couple of missteps. Photo: Ross MacDonald - SNS Group

6. Steven Davis - 9
Constantly there to win back possession and open up the pitch with his wonderful passing. Scored a terrific goal as well. Photo: Alan Harvey - SNS Group

7. Glen Kamara - 6
Uncharastically slack at times when trying to find a team-mate with a pass. Not a bad performance, just not his best. Photo: Alan Harvey - SNS Group

8. Scott Arfield - 8
Brought in for his tenacity and energy both on and off the ball, he also added real quality to the midfield and supported the attack well. Photo: Rico Brouwer - SNS Group
