Hearts and Rangers will contest one of the biggest games of the Scottish Premiership season this week as the two sides clash under the lights at Tynecastle on Wednesday.
Attention will centre on the return of Rangers manager Derek McInnes, who will lead his side out at Tynecastle for the first time since he swapped dugouts in the summer.
Lawrence Shankland and Cammy Devlin made similar switches in the summer, but the Rangers duo will escape the Gorgie cauldron after being ruled out of the clash due to hamstring injuries. But which other players have made similar moves over the last few decades?
The duo are just two of 10 players moved from Hearts to Rangers in the last 28 years, with an 88-goal striker and an Edinburgh derby hero, and a self-employed tiler making the switch.
Can you remember the last 10 players to have left Hearts to sign for Rangers?

5. Billy King
The young winger broke into the Hearts first team during the 2012/13 season, making his debut against Dundee. A key player in the Championship title win in 2015, he scored nine goals in 33 appearances, but found his game time limited upon their return to the top flight. He joined Rangers on loan in January 2016 and won the Championship title for the second time in his career at Ibrox, but returned to Tynecastle in the summer. Now 32, he plays for Bonnyrigg Rose in the Lowland League East after spells at Dundee United, Greenock Morton, St Patrick's Athletic, Northern Colorado Hailstorm and Arbroath. | SNS Group

6. David Templeton
Scored a memorable goal against Liverpool at Anfield in the Europa League play-offs in 2012, but made a shock move to fourth-tier Rangers for a reported fee of £500,000 just days later. His time at Ibrox was frustrating, though, due to consistent injuries. Templeton's move to Rangers left many Hearts fans with mixed feelings in the seasons that followed, and he was often given a rough ride when he returned to Tynecastle as an opposition player. That said, time appears to have healed for both, with the winger representing the club in the rebooted Tennent's Sixes tournament. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

7. Ian Black
A Hearts fan from birth, the midfielder lifted the Scottish Cup with his boyhood club in 2012 but made a surprising switch to Rangers just months later, despite their demotion to their fourth tier. However, his Ibrox switch did not work out and he eventually departed for Shrewsbury Town in 2015. He gradually dropped down the leagues before retiring in 2021 after spells in England's lower league with Tranent and Dunbar United. He now runs his own business, Ian Black Tiling, which serves Edinburgh and the surrounding Lothians. Returned to football temporarily earlier this month, representing Hearts in the Tennent's Sixes legends tournament. | SNS Group 0141 221 3602 Photo: SNS Group 0141 221 3602

8. Kevin Kyle
The former Sunderland man enjoyed a strong spell with Hearts in the 2010/11 campaign, scoring seven goals in 19 appearances. He famously scored a dramatic late winner against bitter rivals Hibernian on New Year's Day in 2011, but injury ruined his second year at Tynecastle. He signed for Rangers following their demotion to the fourth tier in July 2012, and scored three goals in eight appearances but left the club by mutual consent the following March, missing out on a league winner's medal by a couple of games.
