Games at the beginning of March 2020 were the last attended by fans before lockdown restrictions to curb the spread of coronavirus were implemented, closing football down until the autumn and keeping fans away from large gatherings indefinitely.
A year later – it’s still on-going and the weekly football fix is obtained via online streaming services, not the terraces.
We took a look back at the final crowds for each team in the Scottish Premiership and a handful of others from across the SPFL a year on since the turnstiles last clicked.
Fingers crossed we will be back again soon….

9. LIVINGSTON
Fans have been going to extremes to see their team this season - some have gathered at high vantage points despite social distancing rules, like here at Livingston. Others even hired cherry-pickers to watch games at other stadia during the lockdown. (Ross MacDonald / SNS Group) Photo: Ross MacDonald - SNS Group

11. Raith Rovers

12. RANGERS
Rangers fans last saw their team in SPFL action in Dingwall on March 8 last year. Eight months later Rangers would also play Ross County in front of a crowd at the Global Energy Arena with Highand Council's low tier restrictions permitting a small socially distant crowd but only of local fans. The Gers' last match before lockdown was a Europa League knock-out tie with Bayer Leverkusen on March 12 less than 24 hours before the Scottish season was suspended.
