How to watch Scotland v Brazil in final Group C clash

All eyes will be on Miami Stadium on Wednesday night as Scotland bid for World Cup history against Brazil in their final Group C match.

A famous victory over the five-time world champions would send Scotland into the knockout stages of a major tournament for the first time - while a draw would almost certainly guarantee progression to the round of 32.

A narrow defeat could also be enough for Steve Clarke’s side providing results across the other groups go in their favour with the eight best placed teams who finish third qualifying for the next stage along with the group winners and runners-up.

Scotland are currently third in Group C on three points and level goal difference after following up their opening 1-0 win over Haiti with a 1-0 defeat by Morocco. Brazil are top on four points after a 1-1 draw against Morocco was followed by a 3-0 win over Haiti.

Scotland have never beaten Brazil in 10 previous attempts but did claim a goalless draw against them at the 1974 World Cup. The most recent meeting was in 2011 when Brazil claimed a 2-0 victory in a friendly at the Emirates Stadium.

A 19-year-old Neymar scored a double that day and is set to feature against Scotland again at the age of 34 after head coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed the Santos forward is “available to play”.

Both teams will hope the match goes ahead with no delays with lightning forecast for the Miami area.
