A week on Tuesday, new Scotland head coach Sebastien Pocognoli will name his first squad for the Nations League B fixtures against Slovenia home and away, Switzerland at home and North Macedonia away.
There will be much intrigue as to what direction Pocognoli turns to after seven successful years of Steve Clarke being at the helm of the national team.
Will the Belgian stick largely with the group of players that took Scotland to the World Cup? Or will there be sweeping changes to how the squad looks?
We take a look at 13 either uncapped or previously out-of-the-picture Scots who will hope to have caught Pocognoli's eye:

13. Colby Donovan
In terms of numbers, Scotland are well-stocked at right-back options, but the main choice Aaron Hickey has had his fitness struggles over the past two years and is not a regular at his club Brentford. Nathan Patterson's move to Torino may afford him the game-time he so desperately needs and there is Max Johnston, who is part of the first-team picture at Derby but not a regular started either. Now feels as good a time as any to blood Colby Donovan, the Celtic 20-year-old who has been deputising for the injured Alistair Johnston at Parkhead. He impressed in front of Pocognoli in a recent Champions League tie against LASK and has started the club's six previous matches. Crucially, he has leapt above Anthony Ralston in the Celtic pecking order - the man who went to the World Cup under Clarke. If Pocognoli is planning on three right-backs, there's no reason why Donovan should not be joining Hickey and Patterson. | SNS Group
