Sebastien Pocognoli given UEFA warning as two Scotland coaches banned
Pocognoli reprimanded as Under 21 coaches suspended for ‘unsporting conduct’
Scotland head coach Sebastien Pocognoli has been reprimanded by UEFA after causing a delayed kick-off in the first match in charge of the national team.
The Belgian has been warned over his conduct after being held responsible for holding up the start of the match against Slovenia in Ljubljana on September 26 which ended in a goalless draw.
The Slovenian FA has also been fined £1,250 for supporters throwing missiles during that match.

In addition, Scotland Under-21 coaches Tony Docherty and Steven Naismith have been handed one-match bans for "unsporting conduct" following a late touchline scuffle in their recent match away to Bulgaria.
Docherty and assistant Naismith were both shown red cards in the 82nd minute of Under-21 European Championship qualifier last month for aggressively entering the field of play after a melee broke out following a shocking tackle on Dylan Lobban by Bulgaria defender Simeon Shishkov, who was also sent off. Bulgaria fitness coach Svetlin Spasov was also shown a red card for his part in the incident.
Docherty, who replaced the long-serving Scot Gemmil as Under-21 head coach in the summer, won both of his opening matches in charge with a 4-2 win over Azerbaijan at Rugby Park followed up by a 2-0 victory in Pazardzhik. It was not enough, however, to secure qualification for Euro 2027 as Scotland finished third in the group behind Czechia and Portugal.
Scotland Under 21s don't have any competitive fixtures in the diary but are scheduled to play friendlies against Ukraine and USA in Spain next month. The games against Ukraine on November 12 and USA on November 15 will take place at the Pinatar Arena in San Pedro del Pinatar.
