Scotland earned two draws from their friendly double header, displaying their progress in possession with a controller performance against Poland only to be undone by a controversial penalty call before demonstrating a real verve and threat on the counter-attack in a 2-2 draw with Austria. The latter fixture showed up some sloppy moments, however, allowing a two-goal lead to slip.

Ben Doak is on the verge of completing his move to Liverpool. The Celtic starlet impressed with Scotland’s Under-17s over the last week and earned his first-team debut with Ange Postecoglou’s side earlier this campaign. 6. Hendry questions club manager
Scotland defender Jack Hendry has told his Club Brugge boss that he is the best defender at the club and he should be playing. The centre-back has been dropped under new boss Alfred Schreuder after picking up a couple of red cards. He was signed for £5million and may consider his future. "I went to Brugge to play and obviously it’s never guaranteed. But I think my performances have earned me a place in the team and to keep on playing. I got the two reds, but they were the first of my career, and sometimes that happens. Even if they do, I think you still keep your best defender in the team.” (Various) Photo: Sammy Turner - SNS Group

8. Charles-Cook to 'attract attention'
Ross County boss Malky Mackay believes star man Regan Charles-Cook is “going to attract attention” in the summer. The Premiership’s top scorer is out of contract and been linked with Aberdeen and Hibs. Mackay said: “He will have as many options as he and his agent decide to have in the summer.
