Scotland’s second match of this World Cup takes place on Friday night in Group C against Morocco.
After kicking off the tournament with a 1-0 win over Haiti at the same venue, Steve Clarke’s men head into the clash with Moroccans in good spirits - and top of the pool.
On paper, Morocco will be a far tougher assignment for Scotland. They are African champions and are ranked seventh in the world. They were impressive in drawing 1-1 with Brazil and are expected to go far in the tournament.
With that in mind, we’ve picked a team that is a little more pragmatic. Scotland were in a 4-4-2 formation against Haiti but given Morocco are likely to dominate possession, Scotland need an extra midfield. While a 3-5-2 or 3-5-1-1 cannot be discounted, we are going with a 4-2-3-1 system.

9. CAM - Scott McTominay
Wasn't fully fit against Haiti after a stomach bug. But he battled on. Central to what Scotland do and will start unless injury strikes. | Getty Images

10. LW - John McGinn
Scotland's matchwinner against Haiti, he has good rapport with Andy Robertson down the left channel and drifts inside to allow the captain to drive up the flank. Some might want him more central and Ryan Christie out wide, but McGinn should stay here. | Getty Images

11. ST - Che Adams
If Scotland play one up front, then it's a real conundrum with Lawrence Shankland, Lyndon Dykes, George Hirst and Ross Stewart vying for the spot with Adams. The Torino hitman played well against Haiti, runs the channels and doesn't let Clarke down. He's in the box-seat to lead the line. | Getty Images
