Scotland’s World Cup campaign came to an end over the weekend after failing to reach the last 32.
The Scots finished Group C in third place on three points after a 1-0 win over Haiti, but then lost 1-0 to Morocco and then 3-0 to Brazil.
They then failed to finish as one of the eight best third-placed teams, meaning that the long wait for a Scotland team to reach the knockout stage of a World Cup goes on.
Their elimination was swiftly followed by head coach Steve Clarke’s resignation, ending a seven-year spell in charge of the national team.
Some Scotland players arrived back at Glasgow Airport on Monday morning, while others joined family on holiday.
We take a look at how each Scotland player fared during the World Cup:

17. Ben Gannon-Doak
Some flashes of promise from the winger, who started against Haiti and Brazil. Still lacks a reliable end product, albeit one of the few players with pace and trickery in this squad. 6 | Getty Images

19. Lewis Ferguson
Comes out of this tournament as Scotland's best player. He did so much of the spadework in midfield and emptied the tank in every game. Defensively sound and had the engine to push forward when required. 8 | PA

20. Lawrence Shankland
Ultimately a disappointing campaign for the in-form striker, who never had a proper attempt on goal despite starting against Haiti and Brazil. 5 | Getty Images
