Scotland’s World Cup campaign came to an end over the weekend after failing to reach the last 32.
The Scots finished Group C in third place on three points after a 1-0 win over Haiti, but then lost 1-0 to Morocco and then 3-0 to Brazil.
They then failed to finish as one of the eight best third-placed teams, meaning that the long wait for a Scotland team to reach the knockout stage of a World Cup goes on.
Their elimination was swiftly followed by head coach Steve Clarke’s resignation, ending a seven-year spell in charge of the national team.
Some Scotland players arrived back at Glasgow Airport on Monday morning, while others joined family on holiday.
We take a look at how each Scotland player fared during the World Cup:

1. Angus Gunn
Played every minute after winning the battle with Craig Gordon for the gloves. Only one of Scotland's four goal concessions he was culpable for was Brazil's second, getting caught under a cross. Made some smart saves to keep the score down in match, and also against Morocco. Can be satisfied with his tournament. 7 | AFP via Getty Images

2. Aaron Hickey
Hickey's recent career has been besieged by injuries and while he forced his way into the starting XI against Haiti, he was replaced after 75 minutes. He was fine in that match but didn't play another minute thereafter. 5 | Getty Images

3. Andy Robertson
The captain led by example and a was a proper statesman for this side, but was almost always under the cosh defensively and as a result wasn't fully able to support in attack as he would have wished. 6 | AFP via Getty Images

4. Scott McTominay
The talisman of this team wasn't able to scale his Napoli heights. Hit the post against Haiti, had a reasonable penalty claim against Morocco and also had a number of half-chances against Brazil. He nearly missed the first match against the Haitians due to a stomach bug and one wonders whether illness stopped him from performing at his absolute best. 6 | AFP via Getty Images
