Scotland secured a huge win in their quest to reach next summer’s World Cup after they defeated Greece 3-1 at Hampden Park.
Steve Clarke’s remain in second place in Group C on seven points, behind Denmark on goal difference after they thrashed Belarus 6-0 in Hungary. However, the Scots have now pulled four points clear of the Greeks in what is becoming a fiercely competitive pool.
Greece had taken the lead just before the hour mark through Kostas Tsimikas, but Scotland showed their fighting spirit by netting three goals in an exhilarating second-half display.
Ryan Christie levelled matters before Lewis Ferguson bagged his first goal in Scotland colours with a crucial strike ten minutes from the end.
Greece pushed for a leveller and Scotland keeper Angus Gunn made an exceptional stop to deny Konstantinos Karetsas from close range. It proved crucial, with Lyndon Dykes landing a third in stoppage time to put Scotland in buoyant mood ahead of facing Belarus.
We give each player a mark out of ten for their performance.

9. John McGinn
This was the Aston Villa man's 80th cap, moving him level with Craig Gordon and Darren Fletcher. Was one of the better players in a poor first half for Scotland. Never gave up and remains a talisman for this Scotland team. 7 | PA

10. Scott McTominay
For large spells of this match, the Napoli and Scotland lynchpin was anonymous in midfield. Spent too much of the game away from the danger area. Looks a little lost right now when asked to play in a team that doesn't see as much of the ball as Napoli in a different role. Nevertheless, never stopped working. 6 | PA

11. Che Adams
It can be a hard life as a Scotland striker, feeding off scraps and not getting chances. Adams is patient and willing to keep working defenders, willing to be a nuisance. Played his part in the equaliser and ran himself into the ground before making way for Dykes later in the match. 6 | SNS Group

12. Anthony Ralston
Some Scotland fans may have had reservations about his arrival, but the Celtic defender was very steady after replacing Hickey and played the ball into the box that led to Scotland's equaliser. 5 | PA
