8. Defoe tipped to go
Jermain Defoe doesn’t have a future at Rangers beyond the summer, according to former Celtic forward Frank McAvennie. Defoe has returned to a solely playing role after the appointment of Giovanni van Bronckhorst and his contract expires at the end of the season. McAvnnie said: “He’s got a few months left on his deal so I can see him hanging around Ibrox until the end of the season. He’s always there as an option and what an option to have, he’s still so clinical.” (Football Insider) Photo: Rob Casey - SNS Group
