Scotland return to action for the first time this year as they face a friendly double-header against Japan and the Ivory Coast ahead of their participation in this summer’s World Cup.
With key names such as Lawrence Shankland, Craig Gordon and Ben Gannon-Doak ruled out of the March friendlies, Rangers’ teenage talent Findlay Curtis has been drafted into the squad by Steve Clarke following some impressive performances on loan at Kilmarnock in the last month.
One of only two players in Clarke’s squad under the age of 20, the teenager joins an increasing list of Scotland’s most promising young talents to be offered a shot by the 62-year-old national team boss. But which youngster will be the next to break into the Scotland senior side?
Here are the 10 players we’re tipping to follow in the footsteps of Curtis and make it into the Scotland senior squad in the months - and years - to come:

9. Jeremiah Chilokoa-Mullen - Dunfermline Athletic
A consistent feature for Scotland across all youth levels, the 21-year-old has grown in stature for Dunfermline this season. Has been lauded for his physical approach to defending and has scored one and assisted a further four goals in the Championship this season. | SNS Group

10. Bailey Rice - Rangers
While his progress has been derailed by injury this season, there's a reason Rice has been linked with sides in the English Premier League in recent months. Looked comfortable when called upon in Rangers' Europa League quarter-final clash against Atletico Madrid last season. Had a difficult campaign, but has a high ceiling, and remains one to watch in the future. | SNS Group
