All eyes will be on Germany this weekend as the Bundesliga gets back up and running. The German top-flight clubs will look to finish the current campaign during the coronavirus pandemic by playing behind closed doors.
In the UK BT Sport will show every game from the final nine rounds of fixtures live. And it starts with a cracker as Schalke 04 travel to Borussia Dortmund in the Revierderby. On Sunday Bayern Munich travel to Union Berlin.
With that in mind, we cast our minds back to the Scottish players who have turned out for German clubs. Click and scroll through to see the 13 players featured.

5. Murdo MacLeod
Before Paul Lambert there was Murdo MacLeod. The former Celtic and Hibs star turned out more than 100 times for Borussia Dortmund, coming back from Germany with a German Cup and DFL-Supercup to his name. | Other 3rd Party Photo: SNS Group

6. Scott Booth
Then there was Scott Booth. He came through the Aberdeen academy at a time when the Dons were constantly challenging for the title. His success and Paul Lambert's attracted him to Dortmund but his time wasn't as successful. Unable to make a mark he was loaned to teams in the Netherlands before making the move permanently. | Getty Images Photo: Stu Forster

7. Oliver Burke
It was a short but sweet spell in the Bundesliga for Burke. He made the move to RB Leipzig for £13million from Nottingham Forest but lasted just a season before West Brom paid £15million for his services. While certain aspects of his game were praised, his game intelligence was questioned. | Getty Images Photo: ROBERT MICHAEL

8. David Bates
It has been quite the journey for David Bates. Raith Rovers to Rangers, via East Stirlingshire and Brechin, then on to Hamburg before a loan spell with Sheffield Wednesday.
